Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Ecommpay is searching for a driven and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our fast-growing commercial team in EMEA and fuel our expansion across global enterprise merchants.
This is an entry-level commercial role designed for high-potential talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening doors, generating qualified pipeline, and creating new commercial opportunities for our Sales Managers. You’ll be on the front lines - prospecting, outbounding, and positioning Ecommpay’s payments platform to some of the largest and most innovative digital businesses in the world.
Success in this role comes from resilience, curiosity, and a relentless drive to win. For top performers, this role is a direct career path into Sales Manager / Account Executive positions.
Responsibilities
Drive outbound prospecting into enterprise global merchants by conducting initial merchant research to support tailored outreach
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through targeted outreach: email, LinkedIn, calls, events, and networking
Qualify inbound leads and identify fit based on Ecommpay's ideal customer profile
Understand high-level payment needs and explain how our solution can help
Work with cross-functional teams to prioritise accounts, schedule discovery meetings, and assist with early-stage opportunities
Represent Ecommpay professionally at events, conferences, and prospect meetings
Continuously refine outreach messaging, sequencing, and prospecting tactics to improve conversion
Requirements
0–2 years of experience in commercial, sales, outbound, or lead-generation (SaaS/fintech or payments is a plus)
Proven ability to meet KPIs, especially around pipeline creation
Fluent in written and spoken English
Strong communicator comfortable with high-activity outreach
Curious, resilient, and eager to grow a career in enterprise sales
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple outreach cadences
Nice to have:
Exposure to payments, fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce
Experience selling or prospecting into enterprise or mid-market companies
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and outreach tools (SalesLoft, Outreach.io, Apollo, etc.)
Additional language skills
Understanding of digital commerce trends or global payments

Salary Range: 2000- 2500 EUR Gross/month
