Senior Financial Analyst
Take ownership of financial planning, turn data into business insight, and help shape the next stage of our growth.
🌍 Do you enjoy solving complex problems, improving the way financial planning and reporting work and making a measurable difference to business performance?
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Ecommpay, you will play a key role in shaping how we plan, manage and grow the business. This is more than a traditional financial analysis role. You will work closely with budget owners, senior management, the Board of Directors and cross-functional teams to turn financial and operational data into clear insights and support better business decisions.
You will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning, while also supporting strategic initiatives, business cases and expansion projects. From assessing the profitability of new products and initiatives to developing unit economics and scenario analyses, your work will directly contribute to how we make informed decisions and build for sustainable growth.
If you enjoy taking ownership, solving complex business problems and translating numbers into a clear story, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing and evolving organisation.
What you will do:
Planning & Budgeting
Rebuild, automate and continuously improve the company's budget model and the underlying budgeting system
Lead the three-year financial planning process and own the rolling forecast and monthly actuals-versus-budget analysis
Cost Management & Business Partnering
Deliver cost analytics and independently drive cost optimisation opportunities across the business
As a trusted Finance Business Partner, work with budget owners to prepare budgets and forecasts, allocate costs, and challenge proposals and assumptions
Decision Support & Financial Analysis
Provide proactive financial analysis of new projects, products and business initiatives, assessing profitability, costs, cash flows, expected returns and other relevant metrics
Build business cases and financial models, and run post-implementation reviews against the original business case
Develop and monitor payments unit economics, and translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for management
Regulatory & Entity Planning
Develop stress tests and scenario analyses, and contribute to capital, own-funds and liquidity adequacy assessments
Lead financial planning for new legal entities, markets and business ventures
Strategic Projects
Take an active Finance role in key strategic and expansion projects, identifying financial implications, risks and opportunities throughout their lifecycle
Governance & Management Reporting
Prepare end-to-end financial materials for the Board of Directors and Management Board
Monitor key financial and performance indicators, proactively highlighting trends, deviations and risks
Data, Systems & Automation
Drive the standardisation, automation and unification of financial data and reporting, reducing manual work and helping establish a single source of truth
